More updates on tax deadlines at the state and local level.

  • The tax return filing due date has been extended to July 15th.

  • Late filing penalties will be waived for returns filed by July 15th

  • Income tax payments due on April 15th are deferred 90 days to July 15th.

  • Late payment penalties will be waived for income tax payments deferred to July 15th.

  • Because Kentucky law prohibits the waiver of interest, interest still applies to deferred income tax payments not made by April 15th.

  • Kentucky 2nd quarter tax estimates due June 15th have not been extended.

Announced earlier today, Mayor Gorton extended the deadline for filing local Occupational License Net Profit Returns and payments to July 15. (Click here for link)

  • No penalties will apply forthe extension period.

  • This extension is for all taxpayers.

  • The 1st quarter, April 15th, quarterly deposit has been extended to May 15h
